Parrot English’s team started in Midtown Manhattan, New York, USA, in 2021. After proving the success of its business model, Parrot English experienced rapid growth and expansion. In May 2024, Parrot English established its Canadian branch with headquarters in Toronto, ON, Canada.
Parrot English's locally-based management team is familiar with North American culture, maintains an open communication channel with all teachers, and provides an environment where teachers can focus solely on teaching and achieve their maximum potential with our students.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and group tutoring sessions in English language and literature.
- Assist students with grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and oral communication skills.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Address students' questions and concerns, providing academic and emotional support as needed.
- Encourage and motivate students to achieve their academic goals.
Must-haves
- 2+ years of experience tutoring or teaching English as a foreign language, ideally in a one-on-one or small group setting.
- Ability to work 5-9 AM Eastern Time. There is no minimum hour requirement.
- TEFL, TESL, TESOL, or other equivalent Certifications is required.
- Online teaching experience to students aged 6-12.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each student.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
- Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping students succeed.
